Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

WILD IN AU PTY LTD (ABN 53 686 277 850), trading as PegGrid (PegGrid, we, us), operates peggrid.com.au and the PegGrid store. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

Information we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect your name, contact details, delivery and billing address, order and payment status, account details, product preferences, enquiry and support information, reviews or content you submit, device and browser information, IP address, website activity, cookie identifiers and marketing preferences.

Payment card details are processed by Shopify and payment providers. PegGrid does not need you to send full card details by email or through a support form.

How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you browse, place an order, create an account, submit a form, subscribe, contact us, post a review or provide content. We also receive information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment and delivery providers, review and marketing services, fraud-prevention services and other providers involved in operating the store.

Why we use information

  • To provide quotes, process payments and orders, arrange delivery, support returns and warranty claims, and provide customer service.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website, products and customer experience.
  • To prevent fraud, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.
  • To send marketing where we have consent or another lawful basis, and to measure advertising and campaign performance.

Marketing communications

If you subscribe, you consent to receive marketing communications from PegGrid. Every commercial email will identify PegGrid and provide a functional way to unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time, and we will action the request within the period required by law. Transactional messages about an order or account may still be sent.

Who we disclose information to

We may disclose relevant information to Shopify; payment providers; delivery, warehousing and fulfilment providers; website hosting, analytics, marketing, email, review, customer-support and fraud-prevention providers; professional advisers; regulators and authorities where required; and a purchaser or adviser in connection with a genuine business transaction.

We disclose only information reasonably needed for the relevant function, subject to applicable law and provider terms.

Cookies and analytics

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the store working, remember preferences, understand site use, prevent fraud and support advertising. Browser and device controls may allow you to block cookies, but some store features may not work correctly.

Overseas processing

Shopify and other providers may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in Canada, the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Privacy protections in those countries may differ from Australia. Where Australian privacy law applies, PegGrid takes reasonable steps in relation to overseas disclosures as required by law.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so do not send passwords or full payment-card details by email or support forms.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable and lawful.

Access, correction and other requests

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. Other rights may apply depending on your location and the law. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where permitted, explaining the reason where required.

Privacy complaints

Contact us with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Third-party links

The website may link to services PegGrid does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal obligations. The current version and last-updated date will appear on this page. Material changes will be notified where required by law.
