PegGrid support

Returns & Refunds

This policy explains PegGrid’s voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return offer and how PegGrid handles damaged, incorrect or faulty products. It is additional to rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

30-day change-of-mind returns

You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days after delivery. To be eligible, the product must be unused, uninstalled, unassembled, complete, in its original packaging and in resaleable condition, with proof of purchase.

Email contact@peggrid.com.au with your order number and the products you want to return. Do not send a bulky product until PegGrid gives written return approval and instructions.

Change-of-mind return costs

You are responsible for approved return freight and safe packaging. If PegGrid arranges return freight for you, the quoted or actual agreed cost may be deducted from the refund.

A 20% restocking fee applies to every approved change-of-mind return. It applies only to PegGrid’s voluntary change-of-mind policy. It does not apply to a product that is faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Items not eligible for change-of-mind return

  • Products that have been installed, assembled, used, altered, cut, drilled, painted or otherwise modified.
  • Products that are incomplete, not in resaleable condition or returned without their original packaging.
  • Custom, made-to-order or special-order products after work or fulfilment has commenced.
  • Gift cards, or clearance and final-sale products where the exclusion was clearly disclosed before purchase.

These exclusions apply only to change-of-mind returns. They do not limit rights for a faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise non-compliant product.

Damaged, incorrect or faulty products

Contact PegGrid as soon as reasonably possible with proof of purchase, your order number if available, a description of the issue and clear photos. Keep the product and packaging where safe to do so while the issue is assessed. Original packaging is not required to seek a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

PegGrid may reasonably assess the product before providing a remedy. An assessment will not be used to delay or avoid a remedy required by law.

Remedies under Australian Consumer Law

For a major failure, a consumer is entitled to choose a refund or replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a non-major failure, PegGrid may choose to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time. If PegGrid cannot or does not do so within a reasonable time, further remedies may be available.

A sale, clearance or final-sale label does not remove rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Returning a faulty product

For a product that can be posted or easily returned, the customer may be asked to return it for assessment. If PegGrid confirms the product has a problem, PegGrid will reimburse reasonable documented return costs.

For a faulty product that is large, heavy or difficult to remove, PegGrid will collect it or pay the reasonable cost of return within a reasonable time.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method unless PegGrid and the customer agree otherwise. Approved change-of-mind refunds are processed after the returned product is received and inspected, usually within 10 business days. Financial institution processing times may vary.

A refund required under Australian Consumer Law will not be reduced for use of the product or by the 20% restocking fee. Any deduction for agreed change-of-mind freight and the 20% restocking fee applies only to an eligible voluntary change-of-mind return.
